Lesley Davies
(BA (Hons) DHP, HPD, CBT(Hyp), MNCH(Lic), MAPHP(Reg)) After graduating from the University of Bristol, Lesley worked in various organisations including large financial ones and charities, mainly in the areas of HR, Communications and Training. This provided her with many opportunities for learning about people, leading to insights into what motivates a person as well as what holds them back from being the person they want to be, leading the life they want to lead.
Lesley trained at the Clifton Practice in Bristol, which is renowned for its high professional standards. She believes that, whilst most clients suffer from the same sorts of anxieties, every client is unique in their personality, life experience and the way they deal with their problems. Therefore, the approach for each client is individual and tailor made. Her aim is to help improve clients' quality of life and to encourage them in new empowering ways of thinking and behaving, so that they can go forward positively into the future with increased confidence and a better understanding of themselves and what they want to achieve.
As a Generalist, Lesley is trained to work in all areas of hypnotherapy but has a particular interest in: depression, phobias, relationship problems, anxiety, anger, confidence building and motivation. Smoking, weight problems and insomnia are just a few of the problems which can arise from anxiety.
In addition, Lesley is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy skills to use with hypnotherapy.

Julieanne Gray
(DHP, HPD, GHR(Reg), MNCH(Lic), MAPHP(Reg), LHS) After attending St Aldates Secretarial College, Oxford, Julieanne became a Personal Assistant at the Berkeley Nuclear Research Laboratories in Gloucestershire before moving to the University of Bristol's Interface Analysis Centre eighteen years ago. Her career in a student orientated research environment fuelled a fascination in the interaction between potential and achievement. This led to an interest in hypnotherapy as a mechanism for providing lasting change through challenging and overcoming limited subconscious self-belief.
Julieanne was awarded her Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy in 2005 from The Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training school (formerly EICH (Bristol)), the West Country's leading centre for hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. In March 2008 she completed a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Skills course and is now qualified to incorporate many current CBT skills and techniques into her practice. The combination of hypnotherapy and CBT is a powerful and effective way to treat a wide range of anxiety-led problems, symptoms and illnesses including stress management, depression, anger issues, PTSD, addictions, fears, phobias and exam/test/presentation nerves. Therapy is client-centred and goal orientated and in addition to overcoming specific problems, is equally effective in helping with motivation, improved sporting performance and personal development.
